Class Descriptions


BJJ 1 - Meant for true beginners. A 24 class series that teaches the absolute basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. An athlete should expect to be in this class for 6 – 12 weeks.

BJJ 2 - The focus is on learning the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques appropriate for the 1st and 2nd stripe white belt curriculum.

BJJ 3 - The focus is on 3rd and 4th stripe white belt curriculum, with an introduction to submission wrestling holds and their differences from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu technique.

BJJ 4 - For athletes that are blue belts or higher. The focus will be on broader positions, advanced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu moves emphasizing submissions, concepts, and skill development. The athlete begins to test his skills against different styles of grapplers, including submission wrestling holds.

Juniors: Beginners - For athletes from 8–16 years of age that have under 18 months of juijitsu / grappling experience. Note that for some students may advance more quickly, such as those who are already familiar with submission wrestling techniques (having a traditional wrestling background).

Juniors: Intermediate - For athletes from 8–16 years of age that have over 18 months of Jiu Jitsu / grappling experience.
