Coach's Corner - Thoughts, Tips, and Guidance for a Successful Jiu Jitsu Journey | #20

This week's Coach's Corner is about the the Zen of Jiu Jitsu ... how it promotes mindfulness and flow (which is one of the things I love most about training Jiu Jitsu).

No matter how terrible or how wonderful a day you've had, when you walk on the mat and touch hands, it all goes away. You're immediately in the moment. I can't tell you how many times I've rolled for 75 - 90 minutes and it's felt like only 15 minutes has gone by. And, on top of that, 98% of the times I've training Jiu Jitsu over the last twenty-five years, I've felt WAY better when I'm done with my workout than when I started. I'm more relaxed, more calm, and yet more energized than before my training session.
