Coming back to Training After a Break - The Re-Entry

Everyone, who decides to commit to the long-term goal of achieving their black belt and / or doing Jiu Jitsu for a life-time, will face the reality of re-starting their Jiu Jitsu training. It's inevitable - a break in training will occur due to life demands, injury, travel, etc.

The key is to re-enter intelligently ... and safely. The chance of getting injured is extremely high the first three weeks someone comes off a long break (10 days to 18 months). Don't fall victim to the "weekend warrior" mentality. It's real ... and it's dangerous if not acknowledged.

Check out this week's Coach's Corner to find out strategies for success.
