Coming back to Training After a Break - The Re-Entry

Everyone, who decides to commit to the long-term goal of achieving their black belt and / or doing Jiu Jitsu for a life-time, will face the reality of re-starting their Jiu Jitsu training. It's inevitable - a break in training will occur due to life demands, injury, travel, etc.

The key is to re-enter intelligently ... and safely. The chance of getting injured is extremely high the first three weeks someone comes off a long break (10 days to 18 months). Don't fall victim to the "weekend warrior" mentality. It's real ... and it's dangerous if not acknowledged.
