Coach's Corner - Thoughts, Tips, and Guidance for a Successful Jiu Jitsu Journey | #40

Basic Movements Done Daily

This week we focus on basic body movements to keep us feeling good and mobile.

I'm a "back" guy ... I've had issues on and off for the last thirty years. However, over the last three years I've taken it upon myself to do twenty plus minutes of movement (separate and apart from Jiu Jitsu or conditioning) and it has really made a difference.

Today ... fortunately, my back is feeling healthy and strong. But, it's not by accident. I've committed to daily maintenance to ensure that I can stay on the Jiu Jitsu mats and keep training. My goal is to be actively training Jiu Jitsu when I'm 85 years old. To do so, I've gotta put in the time and the maintenance ... and I do ... gladly.

Big shout out to my MovNat coach, Stefano Tripney. He's been a hugely positive influence on my movement practice and my improved back health and overall body health. Thank you Stefano! ! !
